The design is layed out in full scale- 46 inch diameter
Once I get the drawing completed then I figure out what glass will go where and label each section.
The purpose of my art is to nourish your soul through the enrichment of your surroundings with the use of customized and intentioned light, color and movement. This is achieved by creating custom stained glass windows and oil paintings.

New project- 8 Stained glass windows for a church
I am working on a project which entails 8 windows for a church in Spokane, WA. The design was done by Joan Smith in Cour d Alene, ID and I helped a little with it. Each panel is approximately 4ft by 28 inches. The design starts with upper left image and all 4 follow each other in a diagonal line. The design is mirrored making a total of 8 windows.
The next 2 images show the beginning steps of laying out the design and figuring out how to shape the glass that will be hand beveled.

Started new painting- untitled so far
Feels good to paint again. I have really been fascinated by leaves, whenever I go out on walks with my daughter we go through an area with lots of different trees, it is very beautiful and peaceful. I get caught up watching the leaves, how they move, their shapes, the sound they make when there is a breeze.

Stained Glass Designs #6 and 7 out of 7
These are the last 2 designs for the 2 panel kitchen windows. I wanted something to contrast the geometric and to tie into the plants around the area.
